We are independent Unlike many traditional travel agents, we're not tied to corporate commission-based contracts. This independence gives us the freedom to recommend the best boutique hotels, off-the-beaten-path experiences, private guides or custom activities purely based on what's right for you and your trip. |
We are experienced Over the past 10 years, we've planned over 300 trips to 100 + destinations around the world. We know how to work with partners and suppliers to offer the highest level of service and have a detailed process in place to ensure every trip runs smoothly. |

The Name
In 2016, Megan Hardesty and Ryan Matthews founded Cohica Travel after a life-changing 10-month trip around the world. Megan is a native of Boulder, CO and Ryan is from Sonoma, CA. They met and lived in Maui, HI before leaving their corporate jobs to travel. The name, CO-HI-CA, is inspired by the three places that shaped them and provided the solid foundation necessary to continuously take risks and explore the world.
