Lumpini Park

Often compared to New York’s Central Park, Bangkok’s Lumpini Park is a quiet place of refuge within the hustle and bustle of the city. Spanning 142 acres, the park includes playgrounds, open space, large trees and a man-made lake, all backed by the city skyline.   • Officially, cycling is only permitted during the day between the times of 10am to 3pm. 
  • There is a strict smoking ban throughout the park.
  • Dogs are not allowed within the park
  • A western Thai music festival in the park is held every Sunday between February and April from 4:30pm to 8pm
