Deep inside the maze of tiny medieval streets near the historic center of Split is the tasty and inexpensive Makrovega Restaurant. Serving only vegetarian cuisine is a rarity in Croatia, but this hidden gem does it well. It's a laid back place with plenty of options for any hungry herbivore.
