Rock en SeineEvery summer Paris plays host to Rock en Seine, a music festival in Domaine national de Saint-Cloud in the southwest corner of the city. Taking place in a 17th century park, the festival has four stages, dozens of incredible musicians, plenty of food and beer, and a boatload of sustainability initiatives. Festival-goers drink out of reusable cups (that they can keep or recycle at the end of the night), smokers receive free pocket ashtrays to reduce the amount of cigarette butts and all non-sold food products are donated to organizations throughout Paris (2500 meals were donated in 2014). Combine that with the dozens of incredible artists and live music, and Rock En Seine may be one of Paris’ best annual events.
