The Grand PalaceAs the most popular attraction in Bangkok and one of the most popular in all of Thailand, The Grand Palace is a busy place. A sprawling complex of buildings set against the Chao Phraya River in the heart of the city, it was the official residence of the Kings of Siam from the late 18th to early 20th centuries. While it’s no longer home to the King you can still find some incredible things here, like the sacred and magnificent Temple of the Emerald Buddha, made entirely of jade.
