The Thai Red Cross: Donate ClothesWhen traveling for long periods, it’s not uncommon to either A) over pack, or B) get tired of wearing the same three outfits over and over again. If you reach a point when you’re ready to pick up some new clothes, bring your old items to the Thai Red Cross, adjacent to Lumpini Park. They happily accept clothes and home goods that will be cleaned and sold in the on-site charity shop. Or, if you have extra Baht to spare, make a monetary donation. The international humanitarian organization provides relief and aid in the event of crisis and natural disasters and is great to support on a large or small scale. Check out our blog post on Bangkok.
